Naloxone

The RCMP says an officer used Naloxone to revive a 34-year-old man in Brookfield on Tuesday.

Officers from Colchester District responded around 8:00 p.m. July 21 to a call of a man in distress.

Police say the caller found a man who was barely breathing laying on the side of the road on Cherry Lane in Brookfield.

RCMP say arriving officers found bystanders assisting the man by administering first aid.

An overdose was suspected, so an officer administered Naloxone to the man and was able to revive him.

The man was transported to hospital via ambulance, however his condition is unknown.
