Stunting charged laid after vehicle clocked at 180 km/hr in Cape Breton

A 20-year-old man has been charged with stunting for driving 100 km/hr over the posted speed limit in Cape Breton.

The RCMP say the vehicle was clocked at 180 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone Monday afternoon on Route 4 in Gardiner Mines.

The officer conducted a vehicle stop, seizing and impounding the black Chrysler 300.

The driver's license was also seized and suspended for seven days.
