**Updated** Local comfort centres open to help those without power

With tens of thousands of Nova Scotians still without power following Dorian, comfort centres continue to open around the province so people can charge electronics, warm up, and, in some cases, even get a cup of coffee or tea.

The Municipality of East Hants says the following comfort centres are open Tuesday:

Walton Fire Hall
4281 Walton Woods Road, Walton
Open until 8 pm
Coffee, water fill-up, kitchen is open & charging area available

Maitland Fire Hall
8802 Highway 215, Maitland
Open until 8 pm
Water fill-up, charging area available

Noel Fire Hall
1639 Burntcoat Road, Noel
Opening from 12 pm to 7 pm
Coffee/tea, light food, water fill-up & charging area available
** A soup supper will be provided between 5 & 6 pm**

REMO Pictou County says the following comfort centres are open Tuesday:

Caribou Fire Department
512 Three Brooks Rd.
Open 1 pm to 4 pm
Water, charging

Pictou Landing Fire Department
5761 Pictou Landing Rd. – Hwy 348
Open 9 am to 11 am and 6:30pm to 8:30pm

West Branch Community Center
10 West Branch Rd.
Open 8 am to 8 pm on Tuesday September 10th for residents that need water and electronic devices charged.

Cumberland Regional Emergency Management says the following comfort centres are open Tuesday:
