**Updated at 12 p.m. on October 7th**
The NSHA says the missing patient safely returned to hospital early Monday morning.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) is asking for the public's help to locate a missing patient from a Dartmouth hospital.
Twenty-eight-year-old Jeremy Ross Williams is described as an African-Canadian man who has brown eyes and dark brown braided hair, standing 6'4" and 294 pounds.
He has a moustache and goatee, with tattoos of a graveyard on his left arm and 'Williams' written on his right shoulder, and several piercings, including under his chin, nose, and ears.
Williams was last seen wearing a grey sweater, white shirt, blue plants and beige shoes.
The NSHA has not stated when Williams went missing, but say his risk to himself and others increases with the length of time he is away from hospital.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to please contact police.
