**UPDATED** Pictou County man arrested in New Glasgow forcible confinement

New Glasgow Regional Police say they have arrested a man wanted in connection to an assault and forcible confinement last week.

On Tuesday July 14, police investigated a report of an assault and forcible confinement and identified 34-year-old Nicholas Paul White as the person responsible.

A release states White, of Pictou County, was arrested on Wednesday. 

He has been charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement.


An arrest warrant has been issued for a Pictou County man in relation to an incident in New Glasgow earlier this month.

On Tuesday July 14, New Glasgow Regional Police investigated a report of an assault and forcible confinement.

A release states the police investigation identified 34-year-old Nicholas Paul White of Pictou County as the person responsible.

New Glasgow Regional Police say White has been charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

If you see White, call 911 but do not approach.
