  • Animalotto Mad-Vic 50/50

    The Animalotto Mad-Vic 50/50 are happy to announce that they are back! All proceeds support Refuge Madawaska Shelter and Valley SPCA. Weekly draw happens Thursdays at 6:30 pm, LIVE on the lottery's Facebook page. If you would like to know where you are with your weeks, please send a message on the ANIMALOTTO MAD-VIC Facebook page with your membership number and a volunteer will respond. Tickets are $2 a week and are available from Valley SPCA members or at any of the participating retailers. Tickets must be purchased before 6 pm on Wednesdays.   • Christmas Parade

    The Perth-Andover Christmas Parade will happen on Friday, December 3rd, starting at 7 pm. Parade will begin at the River Valley Civic Centre and go to the Perth Elks' Lodge. Help spread some Christmas cheer by entering a float for your business, group or community organization. Call 273-4959, ext. 2 to register. Parade is weather permitting.   • BOUNCE 93 Food Drive

    The BOUNCE 93 Food Drive returns on Friday, December 3rd to support the Grand Falls Regional Food Bank. From 7 am to 5 pm, the Food Bank will have their van parked next to the BOUNCE 93 studios to collect donations of food and cash to the Food Bank. Your support is needed now more than ever. Food drive is sponsored by GOW Group.

  • Santa Claus Parade

    The Village of Plaster Rock will be having their Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 11th, starting at 1 pm. The parade will start at Tobique Valley High School, go along Main Street and end at the Welcome Centre. After the parade, visit and take a photo with Santa at the Welcome Centre.     Nominations for the Grand Falls Sports Hall of Fame for 2022 are now open!! They are looking for Teams, Builders or athletes to be nominated. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 25, 2022. To submit a nomination, email info@cespc.ca or call 506-475-7750.
  • 60th Grand Falls Regional Potato Festival

    The Grand Falls Regional Potato Festival is a four-day event with activities for all ages and will feature the return of live evening entertainment featuring performances by The Rik Reese Band, Travis Cormier and Big Wreck. The 60th anniversary festival will also feature activities for all ages, food vendors and local craft beer event. It all happens June 30th through July 2nd, 2022. For COVID-19 safety, this event will be held entirely outdoors, and all provincial guidelines will be followed. We are so excited for the return of live music and we will do everything we can to make it safe. New this year, The Grand Falls Regional Potato Festival will be offering two weekend passes for attendees. The Half Baked $45 and the Fully Loaded $65 both options will only be available in advance. Individual tickets for each show are also available; The Rik Reese Band will perform on Thursday night as part of the free entertainment. Travis Cormier tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Big Wreck tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets will be limited and are available at www.gfpotatofestival.ca.
