BNPP: Petit-Rocher man facing several charges including attempted murder

Police have filed several criminal charges, including attempted murder, against a Petit-Rocher man in relation to an incident at a residence in the community earlier this month.

The BNPP says the charges against 56-year-old Michel Beaudoin stem from an incident which occurred at a private residence on May 5th.

The charges include assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, sexual assault, administering a destructive substance, forcible confinement and attempted murder. 

Beaudoin will remain in custody until his plea hearing on June 20th.

A court-ordered publication ban is in place.
