RCMP ask public's help identifying persons of interest in connection with vehicle thefts in Hanwell

The RCMP is asking the public for help identifying two persons of interest in connection with vehicle thefts in Hanwell.

Mounties say at least two people broke into a fenced yard at a business on Timothy Ave. on May 15th.

The individuals allegedly hitched an enclosed trailer to a commercial pickup truck, then got into a second commercial truck and rammed the gate of the fenced yard.

The trailer became unhitched and the suspects fled the scene in the two trucks.

One of the trucks was recovered on the Old Morrow Road in Geary a few days later while the second truck was located on Highway 4 in Harvey.

One of the men is described as being of medium build, with blue jeans, a white t-shirt, black sweater, and a beige baseball hat.

The second man is described as having a medium build, wearing black Adidas sneakers, blue jeans, a black coat with a hood, and a black toque.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
