Event Information: Once again St. George's Soup Kitchen is facing another difficult year in serving many in need of a hot meal, which they do every Saturday. Usually around December many feel the need to jump in and help out, but then as the season of good cheer fades away... so do they. We are seeking a group of folks to take a turn and provide and serve one Saturday meal. Desserts and bread/rolls are always provided by Feed Nova Scotia. It's the main course that there is a need for. Every six weeks my group prepares shepherds pies on Friday night and serves it there the following day. It costs usually less than $300 to do this. Even if a group stepped up once a year to help out in this way, it would be greatly appreciated. What a great way to start a New Year. Jordan Gracie is the parish administrator who can be reached at 902-423-1059 or fax # 902-423-0897 or email: email@example.com
