A grieving family is calling for better, more timely access to mental health supports, after losing their 16-yearr old son to suicide. The family was waiting for a referral for a psychiatrist and they received a call to arrange an appointment two days after Andre Courtemanche disappeared. Jonny Morris, Chief Executive Officer of the  BC Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association, joined Al to talk about the backlog in BC mental health services and what other resources are available to families and individuals in distress.
