Body found in Cowichan Bay

The body of an elderly man has been found floating in the waters of Cowichan Bay. A tug boat crew made the grisly discovery as they were transferring a log boom to a new crew at Separation Point. A crew member spotted the body in the water. Search and rescue teams from different jurisdictions responded,  fished the body from the water and transported it to Nanaimo. The BC Coroners service says the death does not appear suspicious and they have not released the man's name.
