Lizzo leads the way at the 2020 Grammy Awards with eight nominations, including in categories like Album of the Year – for Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) – and Song of the Year ("Truth Hurts"). The singer is also vying for Best New Artist.

Lizzo reacted on Twitter. “THIS HAS BEEN AN INCREDIBLE YEAR FOR MUSIC AND IM JUST SO THANKFUL TO EVEN BE PART OF IT," she shared. "WE ARE ALL WINNERS.”

Not far behind Lizzo, with six nominations, is Billie Eilish.

The 17-year-old is nominated in big categories like Album of the Year (for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?) and both Song of the Year and Record of the Year (for "Bad Guy") as well as Best New Artist. Eilish's debut album also earned her brother Finneas a nomination as Producer of the Year.

Also earning six nods is Lil Nas X, who's up for Best New Artist, Album of the Year (for 7) and Record of the Year ("Old Town Road" ft. Billy Ray Cyrus).

A number of Canadian artists are included in the long list of nominees.

Daniel Caesar has a chance to collect the Grammy for Best R&B Performance for the second year in a row thanks to "Love Again," his collaboration with Brandy. The Toronto singer won in 2019 for “Best Part” with H.E.R.

"Señorita," the Shawn Mendes' collab with Camila Cabello, got a nom for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Michael Bublé's Love (Deluxe Edition) is up for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Mendes had two Grammy nominations in 2019. Bublé has won the Grammy in this category four times.

Drake earned a Best R&B Song nomination as co-songwriter of Chris Brown "No Guidance" and one for Best Rap Song as co-songwriter on the Rick Ross track "Gold Roses." Drake is featured on both.

Jessie Reyez's Being Human in Public is vying for Best Urban Contemporary Album – her first Grammy nomination. Alberta's Northern Cree received its ninth Grammy nod thanks to When It's Cold - Cree Round Dance Songs, which is up for Best Regional Roots Music Album.

Nominations in 84 categories, recognizing the best in music released between Oct. 1, 2018 and Aug. 31, 2019, were announced Wednesday morning.
