Chris Brown has dodged a felony battery charge in Florida.

“After a thorough review of the facts and information from the alleged victim, our office determined there was insufficient evidence to prosecute,’’ read a statement from the State Attorney's Office in Hillsborough County.

The R&B singer was accused of punching photographer Bennie Louis Vines Jr. in a Tampa nightclub after a concert in April 2017. Brown was arrested in July 2018 on a warrant.

The Tampa Bay Times quoted Brown’s lawyer as saying the star was wrongfully accused.

In January, Brown was arrested in Paris after a woman alleged she was raped. The singer, who was not charged, filed a defamation suit against his accuser.

In February 2017, Brown's ex Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order against the singer after she alleged that he threatened to kill her. A year earlier, Brown was charged after a woman called police to claim he threatened her with a gun.

In 2013, Brown was arrested for assault in Washington, D.C. after an altercation outside a hotel when two men tried to take a photo with him. The singer allegedly made a homophobic comment and then punched one of the men.

Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
