Ozzy Osbourne Cancels Tour
Ozzy Osbourne confirmed on Monday what fans suspected – he is cancelling his 2020 tour dates to focus on his health.
The 71-year-old rocker’s No More Tours 2 was scheduled to stop in Montreal on June 16, Hamilton on June 18, Edmonton on July 7 and Vancouver on July 9. These were rescheduled dates from 2019 after Osbourne suffered a fall.
Refunds are available from points of purchase.
“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans,” Osbourne said, in a statement. “I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”
Osbourne, whose last Canadian concert was in Toronto in September 2018, has Parkinson’s disease and has suffered a number of health issues in the past year.
His new album Ordinary Man comes out Feb. 21.
