Rolling Stones Move Up Miami Show Due To Hurricane

The Rolling Stones are bumping up their weekend concert in Miami due to Hurricane Dorian.

On Thursday afternoon, Dorian was classified as a Category 4 hurricane and expected to make landfall by Monday morning. Heavy rain is likely over the weekend.

“Due to the weather forecast, the Rolling Stones show scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Hard Rock Stadium has been moved to tomorrow night, Friday, Aug. 30,” read a statement from the band on social media.

Fans who can’t get to the show a day earlier can get refunds.

The Miami show is the last stop on the Stones’ No Filter Tour, which was supposed to kick off there on April 20. It was postponed when Mick Jagger was admitted to hospital for a heart valve procedure.

Scheduled opening act Juanes will not be performing Friday.
