Heart's Ann Wilson recently sat down with Adam Reader, better known as the Professor of Rock, for a candid conversation.

The 14-minute interview starts with Wilson reminiscing about opening for Rod Stewart at the Montreal Forum in 1975. Heart wasn't originally scheduled to open for Stewart and the band was only called in after the original opener bailed.

The sisters were surprised to learn that Montrealers were already familiar with Heart's music, which she would later find out was in part due to CHOM 97 7's Doug Pringle.

Wilson confesses, "We didn't understand it. It was a confusing moment. It was like, is that for us? [...] I'll never forget it."

Prior to this gig, the sisters had just been fired from an appearance at a venue in Calgary.
