WATCH: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band rock 'SNL'
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were the musical guests on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
As part of the appearance, The Boss and his crew played live versions of "Ghosts" and "I'll See You in My Dreams" from the band's latest album, Letter To You.
Although live Springsteen performances are usually accompanied by the deafening roar of a live audience, due to the ongoing pandemic, the musicians had to make do with the limited Studio 8H audience.
Die hard E Street Band fans will note that bass player Garry Tallent and violinist Soozie Tyrell were absent. Springsteen took to Twitter earlier that day to explain that it was due to "COVID restrictions and concerns".
We’ll be missing our great bass player @gwtallent and our compatriot Soozie Tyrell on Saturday night due to COVID restrictions and concerns. Garry and his family are fine as is Soozie, but we thank Jack Daley of the Disciples of Soul for sitting in.
