POP Montreal unveils 2022 lineup


Montreal independent music festival, POP Montreal has announced this year's lineup.

The festival which puts a heavy emphasis on emerging musicians and eclectic acts alike has once again assembled a wide-ranging roster including singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright, indie rock act Born Ruffians, viral punk/riot girl formation The Linda Lindas, British funk group Cymande, Jamaican dancehall artists Sister Nancy, indie rockers Partner, drag queen Priyanka and more.

Like past editions, the festival will also include art exhibit Art POP, craft fair Puces POP, conference series POP Symposium, cinematic programming as part of Film POP, and a kid-friendly series of events as part of Kids POP. 

POP Montreal first started in 2002 as a non-profit festival to celebrate emerging talent with a heavy emphasis on Montreal artists.
