Air quality approval issued for Atholville pulp mill
The New Brunswick government has issued a new Class 1 air quality approval for the pulp mill in Atholville.
The company's current approval expires December 31st with the new approval taking effect on January 1st.
Provincial approval follows a public consultation that ran between June 27th and November 1st.
Class 1 industrial facilities are required to comply with air quality regulations under the Clean Air Act.
