Ground beef and pork recall at IGA Pointe-Claire
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food along with IGA extra Pointe-Claire have issued a recall for packs of ground beef and pork due to concerns they may contain metal particles.
The recall is for packages of ground beef and pork that were purchased at the Pointe-Claire IGA extra (12 Place de la Triade) on November 9, 2023 between noon and 3:00 p.m. and with packaging date: Packed on 09 NOV 2023.
It covers all formats of: Extra lean ground beef, Medium-lean ground beef, Lean ground beef and Minced pork.

Customers who purchased any of the recalled products are being advised not to consume the meat and instead return it to the IGA in Pointe-Claire, or throw it away.
