Canada recently marked 40 years since its first wireless call – on July 1, 1985, Toronto’s mayor Art Eggleton used a 10‑pound car‑phone to make history. Since then, mobile devices have evolved from bulky car-mounted systems to today’s pocket-sized “mini-computers.” To unpack that journey and what lies ahead tech expert Carmi Levy spoke to Andrew Carter.
