Sexy ad sparks social storm
The teen clothing store Garage has come under critisim over a spring ad campaign featuring the seemingly oiled bodies of scantily-clad young women.
Many if not most of the more than 1000 comments on the company's Facebook page say the photos of the young women objectifies teenage girls and depicts the models shown more as escorts than young girls.
Many say they will boycott the store, but other posters point out that the ads are for swimsuits and the outrage is mis-directed.
The Journal de Montreal says the company has not responded to a request for comment.
Sam Watts, the CEO of Welcome Hall Mission and Eric Deslauriers from the Montreal Alouettes join Dave Kaufman on the Andrew Carter Morning Show to discuss how they will be helping the less fortunate this Thanksgiving Monday.
