WATCH: Motorcyclists caught on video speeding, popping wheelies
Provincial police have identified two motorcyclists caught on a video which went viral earlier this month.
The bikers were seen on a dashcam blazing by motorists on the Laurentian Autoroute south near Mirabel, riding on their only their back wheels.
An SQ officer gave chase at one point, but failed to catch up with them. But they finally did, thanks to the dashcam video.
The bikers are said to be 23 and 24 years old. Their bikes were seized, along with their helmets and other items.
They also got a grand total of $1,541 in fines for their efforts. In addition, they each received four demerit points, and may face charges of dangerous driving and fleeing from a police officer.
