The Michael Jordan Documentary Series Is Coming To Canada, Sooner Than Expected!

As we continue to search for positives in the COVID-19 era, this is a sure silver lining to the cloud. The folks at ESPN have been plotting this epic Michael Jordan documentary, profiling he and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls squad, titled, ‘The Last Dance’. It was Jordan’s final season in Chicago, and the true end of an era. And, until yesterday, this documentary was still months away.

And then the world shut down, for all intents and purposes. So, we’re getting it sooner!

To be more specific, in about a month. Two episodes each week, from April 20th until May 18th. They’ll air on ESPN in America on Sunday nights, and then show up on Netflix in Canada the day after.

Oh, and the dude directing it? Jason Hehir, the guy who directed the outstanding Andre the Giant doc for HBO.

Hehir secured names like Scottie Pippen, Phil Jackson, Dennis Rodman, Kobe Bryant, Barack Obama, Justin Timberlake, Bob Costas, Charles Barkley, all to talk about MJ, and that legendary Bulls dynasty. Get stoked, because this will be in our lives in less than three weeks!
