WATCH: Yes, Competitive Pillow Fighting Is A Thing, And It's Coming To PPV!
Was anyone else completely unaware that competitive pillow fighting was a thing? They call themselves PFC.
More, from Reuters:
Pillow fighting is moving out of the bedroom and into the boxing ring when Pillow Fight Championship (PFC) holds its first live, pay-per-view event in Florida on Jan. 29.
Steve Williams, the man with the dream of turning childhood horseplay into a professional combat sport, said PFC delivers all the drama of hand-to-hand combat without the gore of mixed martial arts or boxing.
"It's not something where you sit there and laugh and feathers are flying," Williams, CEO of PFC, told Reuters.
"It's serious. It's hardcore swinging with specialised pillows."
Although the male and female competitors in January's event mostly hail from the cutthroat worlds of MMA and boxing, children will still sleep soundly after seeing the bouts.
"The only difference between our fights and MMA fights is that nobody gets hurt," he said.
"The fighters don't like to get hurt, and there's a lot of people who don't want to see the blood. They want to see good competition, they just don't want to see the violence."
What a time to be alive.
I wanted to hate this...but honestly? It's too good.

As a general rule, I try not to criticize referees in any sport. You shouldn't talk shit on a job that you can't do, in my opinion. And you have to allow for human error, some sports fans dont, or won't do, a lot of the time. All of that to say, this referee is trash, this was incredibly dangerous, and hopefully he never gets anywhere near an MMA fight again.
This isn't just cool. It's...breathtaking.
I don't know who wanted or needed this, but T-Pain has unleashed an EP of covers on the world, and it features his take on a couple of iconic rock songs.
You love to see it.
By now you've seen it, and now you can hear it - the music from HBO's 'The Last of Us'.
