WOAH, Tinder's Started Their Own Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Series?
If you’re anything like me, you’ve found that dating apps have grown pretty goddamn stale over the last year or two, and as a reault, found yourself walking away from the Tinders and Bumbles of the world. Either for potentially greener pastures with alternative apps like Hinge, or to try and meet someone in, you know, the real world.
But this? This has me pondering downloading again. Because Tinder’s gotten themselves involved in the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure genre. An apocalyptic C-Y-O-A, at that. Essentially, the premise is that you’ve got three hours left on earth. What do you do?
Confused? Me too, but the kind of confused that makes you wanna try it out.
Have a look at ‘Swipe Night’.
The “series” (I think that’s the right word to use here?) goes live on the app on Sunday nights in October, for just a few hours. It’s directed by a 23 year old girl, who’s Drake’s go-to music video director. Interesting, hey?
Past that, I’m still a little perplexed by the whole thing, to be honest. People’s reactions are starting to show up on Twitter, and they seem into it.

I’m worried by how many people on tinder covered for Graham. Fuck Graham. #SwipeNight— The Weary Eyed King (@TheGr8Brando) October 6, 2019
My roommate is playing the tinder swipe night thing and I love that you can see everyone's answer. Covered for Graham? Gotta go left.— Sam (@saminezs) October 6, 2019
