Georgian Downs is reopening its doors to the public at limited capacity later this month.

In accordance with public health regulations, the Innisfil casino and horse track will allow indoor gatherings of up to 50 people at a time, and will not include table games and other amenities.

“Once open, gaming revenues in each jurisdiction will be significantly reduced due to operating restrictions,” said Rod Baker, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation CEO.

The province gave the green light for the horse racing to start back up but without the fans in the stands and online betting only.

The casino will reopen officially on September 28. Patrons can expect strict safety protocols to be in place, along with the 50-person maximum.
