In the early evening hours of Sept. 5, Sudbury police responded to a disturbance call on Antwerp Avenue where three victims had been sprayed with bear mace.

Police say a 38-year-old man surrendered shortly after they arrived on-the-scene.

The victims were not transported to hospital but were treated for exposure by Sudbury EMS.

The man has been charged with multiple offences including assault with a weapon, administering a noxious substance and other various weapons offences.

He appeared in bail court this morning.
