Around 3 a.m. Monday morning, officers from the North Bay detachment of OPP discovered someone had spray-painted graffiti on a patrol car parked behind the Mattawa detachment, police said in a news release. 

Two other vehicles also parked behind the facility as well as signs around town and the nearby Mattawan Township were also painted.

The words "OPP DIE" and "OPP PIGS" were spray-painted on the signs.


Anyone with information about this mischief is asked to contact OPP at 705-495-3878 or 1-888-310-1122. To submit an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online. Anonymous tipsters will not be required to testify in court and could earn a cash reward of up to $2,000.
