Power has been restored to all customers, Greater Sudbury Hydro said Wednesday evening.

"Power restored as of 6:15 p.m. to all customers who were affected by today's outage," Hydro said. "Cause is still unknown.Crews will continue to investigate during daylight."

Power has been restored to all but 150 customers, Greater Sudbury Hydro said Wednesday afternoon.

Greater Sudbury Hydro Crews have not yet been able to locate the cause of the outage, but continue to troubleshoot.

"Our control room will push forward with efforts to reroute power to those affected as they able," Hydro said. "There is no estimated time of total restoration available. The outage on Edinburgh has been resolved."

Greater Sudbury Hydro is trying to restore power to about 600 customers in the Adanac Ski hill area of the city, the utility said Wednesday afternoon.

"Crews have been working on this issue since the power initially was interrupted at about 11:30 a.m. this morning, originally affecting about 1,300 customers," Sudbury Hydro said in a news release. "Most of those on The Kingsway were restored shortly after noon. Crews remain active on this issue, however no estimated time of restoration is available. Cause is not known."

Hydro is also working on another small outage on Edinburgh Street in the city – this one caused by a squirrel.
