Ontario's Ministry of Transportation says travellers on Highway 69 should expect significant delays in two locations around Pointe au Baril Friday.
The highway is reduced to one lane for work on the Naiscoot Bridge, north of Pointe au Baril. Instead of temporary traffic lights, a flag person will be on the scene to control long-weekend traffic.
Emergency road work south of Pointe au Baril, in Shawanaga, has also reduced the highway to one lane. This work is expected to be complete Friday evening.
Ministry officials suggest travellers take Highway 11 instead.
