About 350 homes were left without power for a few hours Monday in Minnow Lake on Monday.

Greater Sudbury Hydro said the outage was caused when a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole around 5 a.m.

Customers on Ferndale, Parkdale, Dundas, Hargreaves, Hillsborough, Clearview, Glendale, Lonsdale streets were left without power for a couple of hours.

As of early afternoon Monday, only about 10 homes were still waiting for the lights to come back on.

"The remaining 10 customers (Bancroft/Franklin) will likely be out until sometime this afternoon," the GSU said in a tweet.
