One person was killed and several others were injured when a van plowed into a crowd at the Pinkpop music festival in the Netherlands early Monday.
Bruno Mars had closed out the weekend event in Landgraaf hours earlier in front of 70,000 fans.
The white van slammed into people who were camping overnight on the festival site. The driver fled the scene but was later found my police and arrested.
“This investigation is still underway and we cannot say whether this was something intentional or an accident,” police spokesman Hub Haenen told reporters.
Early Sunday, a 20-year-old woman was found dead on the camp grounds at the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware. Police said the cause of death has not yet been determined but foul play is not suspected.
