Thousands of young people and their families are descending on snowy Washington, D.C. for Saturday’s March For Our Lives, an event organized by students of Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Similar marches are being held around the U.S. and beyond – including in cities across Canada.

Students want to “demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end this epidemic of mass school shootings.”

The March For Our Lives has gained financial support from artists like John Legend and promises of participation from Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus.

Fall Out Boy, G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha, X Ambassadors, Daya, Charlie Push and Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds are performing benefits for the cause.

It has also prompted countless music stars to share words of support on social media, including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Fifth Harmony, Garth Brooks, Eddie Vedder, Justin Timberlake and Canada’s Justin Bieber.

For everyone getting out there on Saturday to support the March For Our Lives, here are 10 songs about walking to help motivate:
