The '90s and early '00s were all about boy bands. Groups like New Kids On The Block, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys had young girls (and some young guys) screaming for their synth-pop songs and cheesy videos.
Canada had its own crop of boy bands, of course. Here's a look at three of the groups that had fans swooning more than 15 years ago.
soulDecision
This Vancouver-based trio made a splash in 2000 with their debut album No One Does It Better, which went platinum in Canada thanks to singles like “Faded” and “Ooh It’s Kinda Crazy.”
We haven’t heard much from David Bowman or Ken Lewko since soulDecision disbanded in 2005 but lead singer Trevor Guthrie has had success with his collaboration with Armin Van Buuren — “This Is What It Feels Like” won a Juno in 2014 and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
Guthrie also lends his vocals to the R3hab track “Soundwave.”

b4-4
What comes before four? Three. That’s how many members were in this Toronto-based pop group, which had some success in 2000. Their self-titled debut album went platinum in Canada.
The trio, which consisted of Ohad Einbinder and twins Ryan and Dan Kowarsky, didn’t last long, though.
The Kowarsky brothers went on to record and perform as RyanDan and backed Shania Twain in her Las Vegas show. They’re also the producers behind Toronto singer Dan Talevski.
Einbinder is currently running a crowd-funding campaign for Boomphones.

3Deep
This trio’s debut album, Yes Yes Yes...No No No, was released in 1999 and produced the hit “Into You.”
Canadian singer CJ Huyer teamed up with American actors Eddie Cibrian and Joshua Morrow to create 3Deep, but they never released music in the U.S.
Huyer went on to manager music acts like Neverest and George Nozuka while Cibrian and Morrow continue to focus on their acting careers.
