For many people, Christmas Day means gathering with family members, exchanging gifts and having a feast.

But, for some people, it also means making a wish and blowing out the candles on a cake.

Here are seven music stars who are celebrating their birthdays on Christmas Day:

Jimmy Buffett - 73

The singer best known for his hit “Margaritaville” – and the chain of bars with the same name – was born on Christmas Day 1946 in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

One-half of pop duo Eurythmics, whose hits include “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and “Would I Lie To You?,” and a successful solo artist (“Why,” “Walking on Broken Glass”), Lennox was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on Christmas Day in 1954.

Alannah Myles - 61
