AC/DC on Monday amped up the excitement for new music by posting images and clips of the band’s neon lightning bolt logo on its social media accounts.

Fans are being encouraged to sign up for updates at a special "Power Up" website

AC/DC hasn’t released an album since 2014’s Rock or Bust, which they supported with a tour that brought them to Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Moncton, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver five years ago this month.

Earlier this month, several photos were posted on the band’s website – and then deleted – showing Angus Young, Stevie Young and Cliff Williams with frontman Brian Johnson and drummer Phil Rudd.

Johnson stepped away from the band in 2016 due to hearing loss and Rudd was replaced by Chris Slade due to some legal woes.

In 2018, AC/DC was spotted out and about in Vancouver – home of Warehouse Studio, where they previously recorded several albums.
