Adam Lambert has revealed the COVID-19 crisis forced him to scrap plans to tour with Christina Aguilera.
“Unfortunately everything went into [lockdown] before we were ready to announce,” the singer tweeted Sunday.
Lambert said he and Aguilera were set to play “big venues.”
Presumably, the co-headlining tour would have started after the completion of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour of Europe and the UK, which was set to kick off later this month and run until early July.
Aguilera is scheduled to resume her The Xperience residency in Las Vegas on Nov. 11.
Lambert said the two are waiting to see if they can reschedule the tour.
“Y’all know I’m an OG Christina Aguilera fan,” he tweeted.
