Adam Lambert revealed this week that he’s in a relationship.
The singer shared a set of three photos of himself canoodling with Javier Costa Polo and captioned them with “LUV U @jacicostapolo” and a hearts emoji.
Polo commented on the post: “I love you.”
When a fan commented that the romance was now official, Lambert fired back: “Honey, we have been official for months. IG isn’t the gatekeeper of our truth!”
Polo also shared a couple’s photo and captioned it with a lyric from Lambert’s 2009 song “If I Had You.”
“‘But if I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need’ @adamlambert,” he wrote, with a heart emoji.
Polo is a 23-year-old former bank teller who works as a customer service representative at Los Angeles eyewear designer Jacques Marie Mage. He’s also an aspiring model.
A native of Spain, he studied at the Colorado Technical University and speaks four languages.
Lambert, 37, has been single ever since splitting from Sauli Koskinen in 2013.
“I haven’t been in a relationship for about five years,” the singer told Gay Star News last year. "I’ve been working and traveling quite a bit so dating is temporary and transient. What’s hard is attempting to see each other again.
“I could meet and really click with a special guy in whatever city I’m in for a few days, but then I have to continue to my next destination.”
