Anyone out there claiming to be Maroon 5's biggest fans now has some stiff competition. Frontman Adam Levine says his kids know the band's music even better than he does.
Appearing on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up show on Wednesday (April 10), Levine was asked about what music his kids listen to. Luckily for him, his two daughters - Dusty Rose and Gio Grace - are "obsessed" with Maroon 5.
"The cool thing about my kids is they're obsessed with the band. They know every [song]," Levine said. "It's interesting to see because they know songs that I don't even remember writing or singing."
Whether they go way back to the Kara's Flowers days (pre-Maroon 5 band featuring Levine and Jesse Carmichael), or do deep dives into M5's B-sides Levine didn't reveal. But he did say one of his daughters has become the band's defacto expert.
"My daughter Dusty, she's a Maroon 5 historian," he proudly said of his oldest. "We're trying to get them to branch out a little bit."
Levine has three children with wife Behati Prinsloo: daughters Dusty Rose, 7, and Gio Grace, 6, and a one-year-old son whose name has not been revealed.
