Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon made a lot of Shawn Mendes fans jealous on Monday when he shared a selfie with the Canadian singer.
The two posed together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night in L.A.
“I planted the seed and I saw the harvest,” tweeted Rippon. “He is cute, he is sweet, and the other guy is @ShawnMendes.”
The pic came only days after Rippon, 28, told Ellen DeGeneres that he had a crush on Mendes, 19.
“I used to have a really big crush on Harry Styles,” he explained. “I was sleeping on Shawn Mendes. Not literally. Not with. On. I didn’t realize how cute he was.
“I know Harry will be upset, but I know love is a funny thing.”
In the selfie, Rippon is wearing a Jeremy Scott for Moschino tuxedo with leather harness. “Everyone should take risks, be bold and not give a [s**t],” he tweeted in defence of his fashion choice. “It’s LOTS of fun.”
