Adele let it be known Saturday night that fans can expect her new album in September.
The 31-year-old singer, who hasn’t released a collection of new music since 2015’s 25, reportedly made the promise just before singing at a friend’s wedding.
(At a music conference in Netherlands last month, Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins said the singer would have new music out this year.)
Adele served as officiant for the nuptials of her longtime friend Laura Dockrill and musician Hugo White and, during a party at the Mason Arms pub in London, took the mic to sing her hit “Rolling in the Deep” as well as the classic “Young Hearts Run Free” and the Spice Girls song “Spice Up Your Life.”
During the wedding bash, Adele danced as Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine performed “Dog Days Are Over” and when the DJ played Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love” and “Single Ladies.”
