Alice In Chains has added another Canadian date to its previously announced tour.

Alice In Chains announced its April and May dates in December, including a May 1 show at Toronto’s Massey Hall. On Monday, it added an Aug. 22 show at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

The band is also "currently putting the finishing touches" on its new album, the follow-up to 2013's The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

The new album is still unnamed, and no release date has been announced, but given the tone of the new press release, fans can expect to hear some new material on the new tour.

The new album will be Alice In Chains' third with William DuVall on lead vocals. DuVall has been almost universally praised for stepping into late-AIC singer Layne Staley's shoes for the band's brilliant 2009 comeback album, Black Gives Way to Blue.
