Say what?!
Not only is The Weeknd’s new album Starboy doing well on the Billboard 200, but all 18 tracks on it appear on the Hot 100 chart.
This feat means The Weeknd is second only to fellow Canadian Drake for the most simultaneous hits. Back in May, all 20 tracks from Drake’s album Views were in the Hot 100.
The biggest hit so far is the title track, which is at No. 2. There are five other songs in the Top 20: “Party Monster,” “I Feel It Coming,” “Sidewalks,” “Reminder,” and “Six Feet Under.”
“Ordinary Life” sits at No. 72.
The Weeknd also has 18 tracks on the Canadian Hot 100 chart, including "Starboy" in the top spot. The album is No. 1 on the Canadian albums chart, too.
In the U.S., Starboy had the third-biggest debut of the year, according to Billboard, thanks largely to streaming. Six tracks had more than 10 million streams in the week ending Dec. 1.
