Pop star Anne-Marie went above and beyond on Sunday to make sure her fans in South Korea weren’t disappointed after she was forced to cancel a festival performance.
The singer's 7pm appearance at the Holiday Land festival was scrapped due to safety concerns – so she hastily arranged a performance in a local hotel.
“I don't really know what's going on, but I've been told that the stage that I was performing on is structurally unsafe so I'm not going to be able to go on,” Anne-Marie said in a video message shared on social media. “I’m not allowed to go on, and I'm so sorry. I'm so annoyed, and I'm just gonna cry in my room the whole night.”

But, hours later, Anne-Marie tweeted: “KOREA. Rubik lounge at Paradise City Main Hotel 11:30pm TONIGHT. BE THERE. I AM PUTTING ON A SHOW!!!!!!!
“NOONE WILL STOP THE SHOW.”
What’s more, the impromptu show was free and streamed live on Instagram.
”Honestly, we did not know this was going to happen, so we're all just making it up as we go," Anne-Marie told the audience, "so these guys are just playing whatever comes into their heads.
“To be honest, soon, I'm just going to be asking if anyone wants to hear a specific song because we have no setlist.”
Singing “Perfect To Me,” Anne-Marie got emotional, prompting fans to cheer “don’t cry” in Korean.
