Another notebook that once belonged to Drake is going up for auction.
Nate D. Sanders Auctions in Los Angeles calls the spiral-bound Hilroy notebook “an amazing piece of music history, offering an early glimpse into the creative genius of one of hip-hop’s biggest stars.”
Bidding starts at $8,000 U.S. for the notebook, which is full of handwritten notes as well as lyrics for songs that ended up on his 2006 mixtape Room for Improvement.
There’s also a personal “to-do” list by Drake that includes a wish list of guest artists (Maxwell, D’Angelo, Indie Arie, Usher), motivational quotes, and four practice autographs.
“Peppered throughout the notebook are little details of Drake's daily life and thoughts, including an appointment for a haircut, addresses and phone numbers of friends & associates, and miscellaneous musings,” reads the auction house’s description.
Earlier this year, a Loblaws notebook filled with Drake’s handwritten notes was auctioned by Moments In Time in Los Angeles.
