Fans freaked out this weekend after Ryan Tedder claimed OneRepublic’s forthcoming album includes a song featuring Adele, Beyoncé and Chris Martin.
“We have one song featuring Beyoncé and Adele with a Chris Martin piano solo on the bridge,” Tedder told iHeartRadio at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Saturday.
OneRepublic’s Human – the band’s first album since 2016 – is set to come out in late November. “Rescue Me” and “Wanted” have already been released as singles.
Of course, Tedder – who co-wrote Adele’s “Rumour Has It” and Bey’s “Halo” – was likely joking about the Adele/Beyoncé collaboration.
