The Weeknd has a habit of being obscure.
We didn't even know what he looked like until after the release of House of Balloons back in 2011! Yet this album started the new wave of R&B Fusion -- his personal style having launched a new brand of R&B songwriting.
Usually, his photos are a sort of puzzle to be decrypted, or that you understand once the solution has been given.
Think about the last time he posted something that we got after the fact. It was two Daft Punk toys that teased us about the French duo's collaboration with the singer on "Starboy."
More recently, he posted a Daft Punk figurine on his Instagram account without an actual caption, but for two rocking hands emojis. The toy was positioned on top of a hard case labeled Conway Recording Studios.
