Aretha Franklin has canceled two upcoming concerts on the advice of her doctor.

The Queen of Soul’s Newark concert on March 25 – her 76th birthday – has been scrapped as well as her headlining show on April 28 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

“Aretha Franklin has been ordered by her doctor to stay off the road and rest completely for at least the next two months,” read a statement from her management. “She is extremely disappointed.”

Franklin is booked to perform in Boston on June 2 and in Toronto on June 28.

Last year, Franklin told a radio station in her hometown Detroit that she was going to stop touring in 2017.
