Ariana Grande is set to release her first new album in four years in less than two months.
Eternal Sunshine will be released on March 8, following up last week's new single, "yes, and?" It marks her first new album since 2020's Positions.
The album's title is a reference to Michel Gondry's 2004 film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which starred Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.
The reference doesn't end there however. The album will drop around the time of the 20th anniversary of the film's theatrical release, but also pays tribute to Grande's friendship with Carrey.
Grande admittedly grew up idolizing the comedian, and starred in the second season of his Showtime series, Kidding, which Gondry served as an executive producer and director on. Both Carrey and Grande showed their fondness for each other on Instagram following the filming of the series.
